Appearance: Deep, glistening red ruby color.

Aroma: intense aroma, black fruits like black cherry and blackberry, spices with smooth touches of pink pepper, cloves and cinnamon.

Taste: Medium round tannins, fruity (red and black fruits), good persistence. Its good acidity exalts the sensual flavours of this Syrah

Aging process: in stainless steel tanks at 77°F (25°C)

Pairing: ideally with duck, lamb, beef and dishes with tomato sauce and pasta. Serve at 64°F (18°C).

A beautiful representation of the Syrah varietal native to the south of France. This very elegant red highlights the sensuality of this variety as grown in Samaipata, the wine-making area with the coolest summers in Bolivia.  This delicious high-altitude Syrah represents Bolivia in Michelin-star and award-winning restaurants, and is exported to Europe, Chile and the USA.

Appearance: Clear, clean and bright yellow, with silver reflections

Aroma: Aromatic, notes of citrus like: lemon zest, Damascus raisin and tropical fruits that resemble melon and ripe grapes

Taste: Dry, medium acidity, intense citrus flavours, tropical fruits and grape. Refreshing and light.

Ageing process: At low temperatures in stainless steel tanks

Pairing: Ideally enjoyed alone or with salads, white meats, spicy seafood dishes and/or desserts. Serve at 10°C.

Made exclusively with the delicious Pedro Giménez, this criollo variety is typical of Samaipata. The bunches of grapes are slowly ripened on rocky hills, at edge of mountains and the patios of old-houses. It is cultivated between 5400 and 7050 feet (1650-2150 meters) altitude. This 1750 wine is the greatest expression of delicacy and elegance of this fragrant variety in the terroir of the Valles Cruceños.

Appearance: A deep purple colour with highlights of violet

Aroma: Intense aroma, with the scent of black fruits like cassis, blackberries, blueberries, leather and a subtle touch of red fruit

Taste: Well structured, dry, strong acidit, pronounced and persistent tannins. Well balanced, a good balance between acid and fruit, with decent body and persistence

Aging process: In stainless steel tanks at 77°F (25°C)

Pairing: ideally with grilled meat (steak, barbecued meats, etc). Serve at 64°F (18°C).

Coming from the southwest of France, Samaipata manages to highlight the best of its varietal characteristics. A great Tannat of altitude, unique in its expression of the mild climate of the rocky hills of Uvairenda. Very intense, with plenty of body and strength, and at the same time keeping the elegance that characterizes wines from 1750. The 1750 Tannat is a pride of Bolivia, highlighted in restaurants and prize-winning shops, in France, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the USA. Recently, the famed expert Dave McIntyre, columnist for the Washington Post, rated it at a mid-point between excellent and exceptional.
